Bulbs, bulbs everywhere
Shannon M. of Olympia is today’s lucky Golden Bulb finder! Shannon tracked down the bulb at the Auburn Mayor’s Office and earned herself a $250 gift card to Lowe’s. Congratulations, Shannon!

Today’s additional Golden Bulb clues are:
- I’m learning all about collecting, preserving, and interpreting the Naval heritage of the Pacific Northwest. Too bad bulbs can’t enlist!
- This place focuses on history, but got a brand new name and location for itself in 2007. On the water, fittingly!

Rock the Bulb hits the airwaves
The July 17 media launch of Puget Sound Energy’s Rock the Bulb Tour was a great success. The launch event was held at the Bellevue Lowe’s store, with Bellevue Mayor Grant Degginger addressing the crowd, along with PSE’s VP of Energy Efficiency Services, Cal Shirley and PSE spokesperson Andy Wappler.
Kids from the Bellevue Family YMCA were quizzed on their knowledge of energy and the environment, getting hands on-lessons in both by riding the energy comparison bikes, visiting the home electronics station and spinning the giant lighting wheel!
As they boarded the bus to depart, PSE staff handed our young YMCA rock stars Rock the Bulb t-shirts, excited to see the smiles on their faces and energy efficiency in their conversations.
Check out some of the media coverage here, here and here!
