Most Rock the Bulb Tour fans come visit us, but this October, Rock the Bulb hopped a bus to reach its fans! Not one of those tricked-out tour buses, but something even better—Sound Transit buses!
One morning earlier this month, magician Nate Jester joined the Rock the Bulb Tour as a guest act for a special performance on selected bus routes in the Puget Sound region. From Bellevue to Renton to Kent to Auburn, our magician transformed incandescent bulbs into CFL bulbs and showed commuters the money they could save by switching to CFL bulbs. Over 300 lucky folks witnessed the magic and received a free 13w CFL bulb.
