That’s right, back-to-back record breaking weekends! When all was said and done in Auburn over 2,000 customers had exchanged 19,800 incandescent bulbs for new CFL bulbs. Many customers also toured the ENERGY STAR Exhibit House and got to hang out with KMTT and KMPS radio stations.
With the help of Auburn’s faithful bulb rockers, our totals are:
- 409,203 incandescent bulbs changed out for CFL bulbs
- 94,525,893 kWh of electricity saved
- $17,595,729 saved on energy bills
- 103,978,482 lbs of greenhouse gas emissions avoided
- Equivalent to 8,638 cars off the road
