Thanks to all who came out to the biggest Rock the Bulb Tour stop yet! This last weekend, almost 1,300 PSE residential electric customers came out to the Issaquah Lowe’s store to exchange almost 12,000 incandescents for free, efficient CFL bulbs.
Event participants keep rocking the energy and money savings! So far, Rock the Bulb savings include:
- 55,366 incandescent bulbs changed out for CFL bulbs
- 12,789,546 kWh of electricity saved
- $2,380,738 saved on energy bills
- 14,068,500 lbs of greenhouse gas emissions avoided
- Equivalent to 1,168 cars off the road
From here, the Tour heads to the Kitsap Peninsula — next stop, Silverdale Lowe’s (August 1-2, 10 AM-4 PM).
